1. ForAL creates opportunities for authentic dialogue among funders and social movement activists to address the challenges of North-South collaboration.
2. ForAL facilitates new funding relationships based on trust and respect.
3. ForAL provides information on funding sources for Latin American social change organizations, including a Spanish-language, online database (in preparation) and how-to information on the grantseeking process
4. ForAL offers consultation on international grantmaking, including analysis of regional issues, strategies, proposals and results, as well as practical assistance regarding the funding of overseas organizations
